New rules effective May 11, 2026. From May 11, 2026, colored stripes and brand logos (red/blue) on karate gis will also be permitted in Sweden. This means you can choose whether to use white or colored shoulders.
The purpose of this decision is to comply with WKF regulations, align Swedish practitioners with international ones, and avoid unnecessary costs for those who already have functional white gis.
Important for use: If you use colored shoulders, the red or blue side must match aka or ao in the current match.
